The Medfield Animal Shelter's mission is to rescue lost or abandoned animals and provide for their comfort and safety until they are reunited with their owners or placed in new homes. We are a no-kill shelter, which means no pet will ever be euthanized because it has run out of time to find a home. We are committed to ending the overpopulation of pets that results in an estimated 5 million companion pets being euthanized at shelters in the U.S. every year, therefore all cats, rabbits and dogs adopted from us are spayed and neutered prior to adoption. We also sponsor a low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats at our shelter once or twice a month, as well as two feral cat clinics each year.

How to Get to the Medfield Animal Shelter

Use 99 West Street, Medfield, MA 02052 for your GPS and then look for our sign out on the street where you make the turn. We are located right off of West Street in Medfield MA, just before you cross the bridge (or just after) over the Charles River. Look for our large sign out on the street. There is also a sign for the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Google maps will give you correct driving directions, so we suggest you click on the map below to get directions and then print them rather than using your GPS system. Turn right when you see the sign for the treatment plant, follow the driveway up the hill and over the train tracks, and you will see our building. Please park next to the shelter.
