Our Featured Pet...

ATTENTION-- We have no more spay/neuter vouchers available! Due to the incredible success of our spay/neuter program we have issued the last of the vouchers. This program was funded by a very generous grant. We have reapplied for additional grants and upon receiving that grant we will offer them again.

Who We Are

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization located in Ohio County, Kentucky. We are comprised of a small group of individuals dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. We conduct investigations of animal abuse/neglect and work closely with our local judicial system on behalf of those animals. One of our main goals is to work with the pet owners whenever humanely possible, to assist, and educate them to better pet care. We are also a rescue organization, although limited in size. We are working dilligently on trying to get a county-wide animal control ordinance passed by our County Fiscal Court, to further encourage responsible pet ownership.

Adopting a friend

Our adoption process starts out by you contacting us either via email or by phone. We then start the interview process. Adoption fees vary depending on what medical care or other expenses that specific pet has had. This does NOT mean that anyone wanting to adopt an animal that had extensive vet care will be charged that amount. We are non-profit, and we adopt our animals out at the very lowest cost possible, which is usually far less.
