Who We Are

We are a small group of people who rescue and foster unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused dogs and cats. All our animals are placed in foster homes. We are NOT a shelter. Our dogs/cats stay in their foster homes as long as it takes to ensure that they are healthy both physically and emotionally. We keep them in our care as long as it takes to find out about their personalities and their needs so we can match them with a suitable home. While in our foster homes, we provide excellent care for the dogs and cats. They live in a regular household with a regular family life. The dogs socialize with other dogs and with cats, they get lots of exercise and play time, they eat high quality food including supplements in accordance with their individual needs. All our animals receive veterinary care as necessary which includes physical evaluations, tests and treatments as necessary. All our animals are spayed or neutered before they go to their new home. We want for "our" animals to receive the same kind of care when they go to their new forever home. We believe that a dog or a cat should be considered a family member and be treated accordingly. Adopting a cat or dog is a big responsibility. Please consider every aspect of your life before making the decision of adopting a new companion. Make sure you can provide the environment, time, money and love that every dog or cat needs to live a happy life with you. We are happy to help you in every way we can to choose the right companion animal for you. We can assist with questions about training, nutrition and many other aspects.

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in one of our dogs or cats please go to our actual web site and read about our adoption procedures. If you are interested in adopting a specific dog or cat please fill out an adoption application on our web site. When doing so please make sure you write something in each bar or it won't go through. The application has to be filled out PRIOR to setting up a meeting. As soon as your application is reviewed, one of our volunteers will contact you either via e-mail or via phone. If you do not hear from us within 48 hours, please send us an e-mail. We always try to provide as much information as we can on our Petfinder descriptions. If you have questions about a dog or cat that you are interested in please e-mail us specific questions.
