We have a basic questionnaire for our dogs for adoption. We also encourage people to call the foster home, so we can get to know each other a little better, and hopefully make the perfect fit for all involved or please feel free to email us. Remember all or our dogs are at volunteer foster homes and we try to to get back to everyone as soon as we can and make arrangements, please try again and we will contact you as soon as possible. Adoption fees help defer any expenses medical or other incurred by the dogs and are usually around $225, although some of the dogs can be adopted for less do to sponsors, special needs and senior programs, and some of the more "sought" after breeds and puppies generally have a higher adoption fee to help (pays for the extra surgeries, meds..so we can take special needs dogs).
E-mail Joysparrows@gmail.com if you have any questions.
We are an all volunteer all breed rescue group located around Yorkville, IL. and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to all the dogs left behind; the blind, the elderly, the physically challenged, and those that have otherwise been passed over for adoption. We pledge to rescue as many as possible and unite them with loving families. Our dogs come from local shelters, Chicago Anti-Cruelty, Southern Illinois, basically anywhere there is a dog in need. Many of our rescues come from community referrals, through individuals, and vets. This includes "The Invisible Dogs ", dogs that are healthy and easily treatable but are routinely euthanized in over crowded shelters. Some of these dogs are misclassified as medically and behaviorally unadoptable but can now be provided with a second chance at life. We have also always appreciated as many referrals from others that know of a family looking for a loving companion. All the foster dogs live in our homes, just as they will in their future forever home. We do our best to get to know them as well as possible to place them in the best home for their needs.
