The Anti-Cruelty Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization that has provided an open door for animals in need for nearly 110 years. Our mission is to prevent cruelty to animals and advance humane education, which we accomplish through an array of programs and services. Every year we help over 25,000 animals through: Adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter clinic (free for feral cats and pit bull breeds), charity veterinary clinic, humane education and community outreach, cruelty and abuse investigation and rescue, dog training classes, a free behavior hotline, and the Bruckner Rehabilitation & Treatment Center and Virginia Butts Berger Cat Clinic, providing veterinary and rehabilitation treatment to help us save more lives.
Please visit our web site, www.anticruelty.org, for a list of adoption requirements and to see our most current list of available animals.
