We ask that before considering a companion for adoption please remember that this is a lifetime commitment. Current statistics show that 72% of pet owners relinquish their pet 5-7 years after adoption.
While we are here to help pet owners who find themselves struggling to keep their pet, we remind you that companions are not disposable merchandise to be discarded when they no longer fit your lifetstyle, but instead, are living creatures that rely on your care, commitment and kindness to live a long happy, healthy life. Your commitment will not be in vain, because they will give you an eternity of love and memories.
Our volunteer staff has over 30 years of experience working with all types of animals and will assist you in selecting the right companion for your lifestyle. From temperament, to breed, to type of animal, we are dedicated to giving you and your family a positive pet experience with a lifetime of love.
We are equally trained in helping you 'keep' your pet should you feel the need to relinquish it. We have several assistance programs, including, but not limited to behavior training, food assistance, medical funding and rehoming your pet properly when absolutely necessary.
If you don't see a companion that is right for you please check back as we post companions needing loving homes frequently.
If you don't see a companion that is right for you, consider adopting from one of our adoption network partners. These organizations have a similar philosophy and offer wonderful adoption opportunities to animals in need who are otherwise overlooked due to location. We can provide you their information once we know what you are looking for so just give us a shout.
