Rural Ga Rottie Animal Rescue Inc is located in Taylor Co and is not opened to the public. We do home visits prior to releasing any animal. We recommend a fenced in yard, but, will consider the situation. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate shots including rabies.
Who We Are
RGRAR has adopted a no kill policy. We do not euthanize animals as a means of population control or to make room for more pets. Instead, we focus on spay/neuter efforts to reduce the pet overpopulation. We are 501(C)3 non-profit. Which means your donation is Tax Deductible
We have no paid staff. This means 100% of all donations go directly into caring for the animals.
We have what we call lifers, these are the ones that are overlooked please consider SPONSORING A PET to help meet the needs of the pets in this shelter. We appreciate any and all donations.
If you would like to SPONSOR A PET, make a regular monthly donation or make one large donations for a tax deductible purposes, we all, including the animals, would greatly appreciate it. (Click on the sponsor a pet link.)
Our ultimate goal is to have no homeless dogs or cats.
With time and proper education in our schools and community on spaying and neutering, our citizens can learn how to be responsible pet owners, thus preventing an overpopulation of unwanted animals.
Adopting a friend
Prior to adoptions all of our pets are spayed/ neutered, up to date on shots (appropriate to age), heart worm test, & multiple dewormings. Some need more medical attention (ie skin conditions, nutrition, heart worms, surgeries, dental & more etc.) but you do not absorb that in the adoption fee.
PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE MAKING THE TRIP TO VISIT US.
