Who We Are

Atlanta Doberman Pinscher Rescue was officially licensed on February 7, 2006 under the articles of incorporation of the Atlanta Doberman Pinscher Club, which is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization. Our purpose is to rescue abandoned and unwanted Dobermans and place them in safe, loving homes.

Our available dogs are housed in foster homes in different areas of metro Atlanta. We do not operate a shelter. WE DESPERATELY NEED FOSTER HOMES! We have to turn away about 80% of the Dobermans we hear of who need rescuing. If you love Dobermans but cannot take on a new one permanently, please consider fostering. Anyone fostering must have a fenced yard and we cannot put foster dogs into a home with children under the age of 12. Please contact Jane at if you can help!

Adopting a friend

All potential adopters will be required to fill out an adoption application and will be interviewed, usually by phone. We do a home check prior to all adoptions and we must meet all people and pets living in the home.

Our adoption fee is a minimum of $250. All dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption regardless of age. All dogs have been vaccinated and heartworm tested and are up to date on heartworm preventative.

Our adoption policies are as follows:
