Who We Are

The K-9 Rescue League, Inc, rescue group was established to rescue dogs/puppies from local and very rural animal shelters, that have extremely high euthanasia rates and few adoptions. We also help abused/neglected and unwanted dogs/puppies that are living on their own.
We are a dedicated non profit 501 (c)3, licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture organization that finds forever homes for homeless, abused and neglected dogs and puppies. All dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, bordatella, DAPPV and microchipped before they are put up for adoption. If old enough, our fosters are also heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Our adoption process includes an adoption application, a meet and greet and a home visit with the potential adopter and their pet(s) if they have any. Our goal is to find the perfect match for our dogs/puppies, and place each one in a home where they will be loved and spoiled for the rest of their lives. Our adoption fee is $200 to 250 which helps cover the cost of dog/puppy food, spays/neuters, heartworm treatments, surgeries if necessary, medications, vaccines, cleaning supplies, microchips, license and incorporation fees, and whatever else might be needed . K-9 Rescue League, Inc, does not receive any government funding.
