Our Pal's Place

Our Adoptable Pet List

Who We Are

Our Pal's Place (O.P.P.) is an animal advocate organization dedicated to implementing solutions to the problems that animals face. We have a Pet Adoption Facility where we house dogs and cats rescued from "death row" in county shelters and a Learning Center where we empower people through education programs to help the animals. We are a 501c3 volunteer based organization with no paid staff. All donations go directly to the housing and care of our O.P.P. dog and cat residents.

Companion Match

Companion Match is Our Pal's Place process to help you find a companion that is a good match for your home and lifestyle. We have a 3 step process:
(1) Meet our dog/cat residents and complete a Companion Match Form.
(2) O.P.P. Match Makers will work with you to determine if the dog/cat is a good match.
(3) Once we agree on a good match, we bring the dog/cat to you for a Meet & Greet so you can see the dog/cat in your home environment before a final decision is made.
If after the Meet-And-Greet we jointly agree it is a good companion match, we will sign the adoption contract and collect the adoption fee.

Vetting & Adoption Fees

Adult Dog (older than 9 months): $160 includes vaccinations, rabies, heartworm test, spay/neuter and micro-chip
Puppy (9 months or younger): $210 includes puppy vaccinations completed as of the time of adoption, rabies, spay/neuter and micro-chip
Cat and Kittens: $135 includes vaccinations, rabies, spay/neuter, FIV and Leukemia test

Adoption Support

Post the adoption, we provide Adoption Support Services to answer questions and/or address any concerns that arise. Our dog adopting families are invited back to our Pet Adoption Facility on designated Thursdays and Saturdays to meet with our trainer and her team to assist with any training needs. Phone consultations and/or home training sessions are available as well.

Pet Introductions

If you have other pets in your home, our Director of Training or one of her assistants will perform the introduction. Appointments for introductions must be scheduled so please do not bring your dog to our pet adoption facility unannounced.
