- Since May 2010 when Paws 4 Humanity Inc started up as a rescue in the Orange Park, FL area, we have rescued and placed 339 dogs in wonderful forever homes. From July 20, 2010 when we rescued our first dog, a black Border Collie named Smoke out of Chipley, FL shelter located in the Florida Panhandle, and one of the largest kill shelters in the state of Florida, until year end 2010, we adopted 27 dogs into phenomenal homes. Paws 4 Humanity Inc had a tremendous year in 2011 as we placed 74 dogs into phenomenal homes, and bypassing our goal of adopting 50 dogs by year end. And to follow in 2012 Paws 4 Humanity Inc continued with our successful adoptions by beating our goal of 75 and adopting out 79 dogs into wonderful homes. We set a goal of adopting out 50 dogs in 2014 and even though we fell a little short, we had a great year where we rescued 65 dogs who were abandoned, facing euthanasia or surrendered by families who could no longer care for them. We are so happy to report that in 2014 we placed and adopted 42 dogs into great homes. We would like to thank all of the families who opened up their hearts and homes and adopted one of our rescue dogs so deserving of a fur-ever home. And of the 42 adoptions in 2014, 10 of them were Siberian Huskies who found their fur-ever home, all here in the state of Florida. And it doesn't stop in 2014 as we look forward to another great year in 2015.

Paws 4 Humanity Inc could not have accomplished this without the dedication, commitment, love and compassion of our volunteers and fosters who have been instrumental in making the dream and wish of our dogs finding their forever homes become a reality. A special heartfelt thanks goes out to all of our volunteers and Board of Directors for all of their undying support and dedication. In addition Paws 4 Humanity Inc would like to extend a very special thanks to the Happy Dog Inn in Green Cove Springs who has come to our aid on many occasions. And of course we could not have accomplished any of this without the outstanding veterinary support of the Beltway Animal Hospital veterinarians and staff. Our sincerest thanks to Dr. Jane, Dr. June and Dr. Rachel and all of the staff who provided such outstanding and compassionate veterinary care to all of our rescue dogs to support our dogs getting adopted into their fur-ever homes. And on a personal note I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude and very special thanks to Leslie Long at the Tallahassee Leon Community Animal Shelter for all of her support, enthusiasm and advice as well as her commitment to making sure no animal is left behind in an effort to find their forever home. Leslie's compassion and desire to reach out and help find homes for as many animals as possible is not only contagious but also inspiring. Paws 4 Humanity Inc has taken great pride in helping both Atilla the singing Coonhound, and Baxley the smart and handsome yellow Labrador Retriever, from the Tallahassee shelter. I am proud to call Leslie not only my confidant but also a very good friend.

We look forward to another outstanding year in 2015 as we continue to help animals in need by bridging the gap through training, socialization and one on one attention to allow the dogs to be the best that they can be so that they can be placed into their forever homes. Our success is shared with each and every one of you who have contributed to the placement of our dogs into such great homes. Paws up to a great year in 2015 as we look forward to the day where there are truly no more homeless pets. Thanks to all of the families who have opened up their hearts and homes to our deserving dogs ! The animals thank you and we thank you! Kathy Mallow, President and Founder Paws 4 Humanity Inc
