Suntree-Viera Pet Rescue
We hold adoptions at the Petco in Viera (next to Walmart) every Sunday from 12:30 - 5:00 p.m. Check out the dates of our Adoption Events on our brand new website at http://svpr.rescuegroups.org. Come by and see some of our adoptable animals. Please note that we cannot bring every animal with us every time we attend adoptions. So if you really want to meet that particular pet, please contact the foster parent in advance. Thank you!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Lilly was originally rescued and bottle-fed by the volunteers at Suntree-Viera Pet Rescue She was adopted a few months later and is now a rambunctious and loving 8-month old kitten. She had a close call at the ER last weekend, but SVPR has taken over her medical expenses and we are doing everything we can to save this sweet girl, however we need help.
We are asking for help to save this sweet girl. Visit http://www.gofundme.com/lillysvprfor more information or to donate. Any donation is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to saving Lilly. Even if you are unable to donate, please click "share" and together we can get the word out.
Feel free to email us at email@example.com for questions about Lilly or the rescue. You can also check out our website at http://svpr.rescuegroups.org.
If you would like to adopt a cat or dog please do not hesitate to contact us. If you would like to make a monetary donation, you can send it to the address below. If you would like to donate food and supplies you can drop off at Petco in Viera on Sunday during adoption times. We can use any new or used animal related items. WHO WE ARE
Suntree Viera Pet Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)3 foster care Animal Welfare organization. We spay/neuter and microchip all animals prior to adoption. Furthermore, we are active in the adoption of abandoned cats and dogs and other small furry friends, as well as animals rescued from the high kill shelters.
ADOPTING A FRIEND
Please Note: All of are animals are examined by a vet, given age appropriate vaccines, neutered/spayed, have been treated for internal and external parasites and are micro-chipped. Cats are tested for feline luekemia and feline AIDS and dogs 8 months and older are tested for heartworms.
Potential adoptees must complete an adoption application and be approved. Our MINIMUM adoption fee is $85 for cats and $150 for dogs. Adoption fees are our main source of funding and fees can vary dpending on the age and breed of the animal. We sometimes offer discounted adoption fees for special needs pets, senior pets, multiple pet adoptions etc. Additionally fees can be as high as $350 for certain dogs.
If you are interested in an animal that is listed on the SVPR site here on PetFinder and would like to see the animal, please contact the foster parent by phone or email to make arrangements as we cannot bring all of our fosters to Petco or PetSmart every weekend. Also, please note that most of the foster parents work full time jobs and are not always able to respond to your inquiry immediately. If you send an e-mail or leave a voice mail, please allow at least 72 hours for a response. Thank you for your patience!
RE-HOMING AN ANIMAL
Please Note: If the animal is senior or a canine over 30 pounds, the only option is for a courtesy post on our website. Please be sure to send us a description of the pet's personality, as well as age, gender, approximate breed, current size, disposition around small children and other animals, current medical and vaccination status, as well as any health-related special needs or concerns. At least one picture will be necessary to post. The listing will go up as soon as we have all of the necessary information. Please also be sure to include reliable contact information- name, phone number, and email address. Because of the overwhelming number of unwanted pets, it may take some time to place your animals, which can range from weeks to months. SVPR can also send you a list of other rescues in the area. Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
