Humanitarians of Florida, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit, 501(c)(3), humane organization dedicated to relieving the suffering of animals. We do this primarily through direct help programs. Our members work entirely without salary. Our first priority is to help animals in Citrus County, and maintain our programs. However, there are many rural areas in Florida which have little or no help for animals. We are chartered to go into those areas and do so when our funds permit. We actively seek to find "forever homes" for displaced pets.
If you would like to join our efforts to help place pets, contact the e-mail address below.
The Humanitarians of Florida operate the Manchester House Spay/Neuter Clinic and are in operation Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday for surgeries and Monday thru Friday for product purchases. All surgeries are done by appointment, but from 9-1 and 2-7pm PM on Monday and 9-1pm and 2-5:30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, there is a walk-in clinic for vaccinations and testing for Heart Worm and Fel/FIV. For more information call (352)563-2370.
As always the Humanitarians of Florida thank you for your support.
Donations to help us with the medical care, housing and upkeep of our cats are always welcome. Our ability to rescue and care for these pets relies heavily on donations. If you wish to send a donation, you may do so by mailing a check or money order to:
