We need donations for monthly flea preventative or Capstar for cats.
Contact us to get on our waiting list for kittens. We will e-mail you photos of our new kittens when they become available before they are offered to the public.
To be considered for adoption you must provide ALL of the following information: full name, full address, phone number, and e-mail address if you have one. You will not be given an appointment to meet with an animal until this information has been provided.
We offer a lifetime return policy for our pets so adopters can be assured that they are not stuck with the animal if the adoption does not work out or your circumstances change.
We are a new rescue group that formed to help out where Animal Control leaves off. Some towns do not allow their ACO's to impound cats, animals other than dogs that were found roaming, and animals that needed to be surrendered by their owners. We fill that void. We primarily help out the towns of Stonington and North Stonington but will help other towns when we are able.
We are an all specie rescue. If we have a foster home for it and the finances to care for it then we will take it. We have helped everything from fish to horses find a home. We specialize in orphaned kittens under 8 weeks of age, caged pocket pets, game birds, and domestic ducks.
Although we are basically a no kill shelter, we do euthanize animas that we deem are too dangerous to adopt out and that have serious medical issues that we can't afford to fix. If you are planning on surrendering a pet to us please be aware of this.
At this time we operate solely with foster homes. There is no physical location. You must call or e-mail to make arrangements to meet any animals.
If you would like to be a foster home for us please contact us with the type of animal you can foster. Please note that fostering does mean you willl need to care for it but we will pay for it.
