Maine Coon Adoptions, a division of Preventing Euthanasia Through Rescue (PET Rescue), is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned, surrended, homeless and abused cats, with a particular focus on Maine Coons and Maine Coon mixes. MCA was founded in northern California in October 2003, and since then, we have rescued and adopted out hundreds of kitties from all over the state. MCA is run entirely by volunteers who love all cats and are particularly drawn to Maine Coon and Maine Coon mixes because of their wonderful looks and personalities.
To adopt a cat, take a look at our currently available kitties below. When you've found your purrfect match, fill out an Adoption Application form and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Can't decide on a particular kitty? Just fill out an Adoption Application and type in "no cat specified" and one of our volunteers will be in touch to help you find the kitty for your family.
You can learn more about our adoption process on our adoption process webpage.
All cats adopted through Maine Coon Adoptions are fully vetted, up-to-date on shots (rabies, distemper and FVRCP), tested for FeLV/FIV, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
MCA is able to continue its kitty rescue work through the generous donations of supporters. All contributions are gratefully received, and go directly to helping kitties. You can donate online using the PayPal link to the left, or visit our website for more options.
Your donation is literally saving kitty lives.
