THANK YOU MADDIES FUND Maddies Fund contributes a significant amount of money that is vital to the care of animals in our rescue. Their annual event, Maddies Pet Adoption Days, is the nations biggest free pet adoption event. Its purpose is to increase awareness of shelter and rescue animals, shed light on the tireless efforts of shelters and rescue organizations, and find new families for homeless dogs and cats. The adoption event honors the memory of the foundations namesake, a miniature schnauzer named Maddie. In addition to finding homes for many dogs and cats, this event always brings EOE Rescue adopters who have never adopted a pet from a shelter or rescue before and new donors who want to support EOE Rescue. Since 2013, donations from Maddies Pet Adoption Days have helped EOE Rescue save hundreds of animals that most likely would not have had an opportunity at life and loving homes. We are extremely grateful for these donations from Maddies Fund.

Will you be my 4-Ever Family?

Please help with one of our rescues this year, Charlie who survived Parvo. Charlie spent a week at the vet's office while he was treated for Parvo.
Charlie came to us at the young age of 3 weeks old along with his 3 siblings. Apparently mom got out of backyard and never came back. We took Charlie and his sibs in. Charlie and his sister went to one foster family and another foster family took in the other two pups. Charlie and his sis were doing great, thriving, until it was time to introduce them to the backyard and start the potty training. Our foster family had recently moved in to their home and had no idea that Parvo lurked in their environment. Charlie's sister became lethargic and stopped eating. We took her to the vet, but it was too late for her. She died of Parvovirus. Charlie tested positive as well. He was a little bit lethargic and running a fever, but no usual signs of throwing up and diarrhea. Charlie stayed at the vet hospital for a week and luckily survived the illness. We are currently seeking donations to help us cover his expensive vet bill. If you would like to be one of Charlie's angels and donate to help cover medical costs, please click Donate.

I'd like to learn more about Charlie.

Thank you!
