Adoption Hours are Monday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Closed on Sundays.

We do have an adoption process which involves an application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older.

$100 for cats and $120 for dogs.
Cats have been tested for FeLv and FIV (if older than 6 months), vaccinated against FeLv, Rabies, FVRCP, dewormed, sterilized and microchipped.

Dogs have been tested for Heartworm, are currently on Heartworm prevention, vaccinated against DHLPP, Rabies, dewormed, surgically sterilized and microchipped.

The Healdsburg Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to sheltering and protecting the homeless and unwanted companion animals of the City of Healdsburg while they patiently wait for loving, lifetime, responsible homes. We also provide Animal Control services for the City of Healdsburg, including lost and found pets, cruelty investigations, pick up and redemption of stray cats and dogs and nuisance animal complaints.
