Central Valley Cats

Our Pet List

Central Valley Cats (CVC) is a local feline rescue group based in San Joaquin County. We are an entirely vounteer run and staffed organization.

Our feral trap/neuter/release program is currently the centerpiece of our efforts. Through agreements with local businesses and residents, CVC helps manage several feral colonies. Concurrently with our feral efforts, we also have many wonderful cats available for adoption. Many of them are cats that have been abused, severely injured, or otherwise would be considered “unadoptable” by animal shelters or other pet welfare groups. We have, through patient care and unconditional support, been able to resocialize and nurse back to health many of the cats in our care and all of our cats lead better lives than they would otherwise have had.

The third facet of our work is the continuing education of more people in responsible pet ownership. To this end we make an effort to make the public aware of low-cost spay/neuter options, help in removing obstacles that stand in the way of arranging to have their companions altered, and counsuling current and prospective pet owners of the benefits of responsible and humane treatment of their animal companions.

We have many altered cats of varying ages, colors and genders, all up for adoptions.

We are entirely volunteer staffed, and receive no funding from any agency or corporation.

You can contact us at (209) 368-3237 or via email at cvc@dandelioncircle.org.
