Who We Are

Solano County Friends of Animals is a no-kill, animal rescue organization serving the community since 1987. We are strictly a volunteer organization with no salaried employees. The group consists of animal loving people who provide care for homeless animals until they can be adopted into a permanent home. We do not have a shelter and all of our animals are fostered in the homes of volunteers and their families until they find their forever home.

The goal of the group is to eliminate homelessness and death in the pet population caused by overpopulation. We work towards this goal by educating the community about spaying and neutering and helping people find low cost options. We also work with the public to help TNR feral cats in the community. We have information on several low cost spay/neuter options. This information may be found by calling us at 707-552-3323 or stopping by our Pet Adoptions in Pet Food Express in Benicia or Petco in Vallejo.
