Redemption Ranch
Our Mission
Our mission is two-fold: (1) rescue two classes of animals in need of their own redemption, Pit Bull type dogs and the American Mustang, and (2) transform those animals into therapy or service animals for people who have experienced trauma, including first responders and veterans with PTSD /TBI and their families, individuals who have experienced some kind of abuse or traumatizing event, and those recovering from addiction, depression, or loss. Animals rescued into our program may serve simply as emotional support/companions to highly trained PTSD service animals, with the ultimate goal of redeeming both human and animal.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters fill out an adoption application with references. References are checked. A home check is scheduled. Once the application is processed and accepted then the potential adopters may come meet the dogs. If they fine one they wish to adopt, an additional "meet and greet" may occur if compatibility with other animals or people needs to be determined. If all is a go, then the adopters sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and may take home the dog.
