Who We Are

MARIN FRIENDS OF FERALS is a non-profit 501C(3) volunteer organization dedicated to the humane care and management of feral and homeless cats. We are located in Marin County, California north of San Francisco.OUR COMMITMENT: To promote community awareness of responsible care and treatment of feral and homeless cats and of the need to spay and neuter to avoid the overpopulation and suffering of homeless and unwanted cats. To pursue workable solutions without euthanasia to humanely reduce feral cat populations while improving the quality of life for these forgotten felines and victims of human neglect. To continue building a volunteer base in Marin on behalf of ferals, thereby reducing their suffering and increasing their comfort and survival rate through daily care-taking and colony management. To work toward the goal of having our Marin community free of kittens born wild on the street, where no feral cat capable of living in a home is lacking one, and where those living in colonies are never in need of food, water, shelter, managed care and genuine concern.
