Town & Country Humane Society was founded in 1992 and is a NO KILL shelter providing care and comfort to our furry residents until they find their forever homes. We are one of the few NO KILL shelters in the State and the only one in the North State. Our goal is to find loving homes for all the lost, abandoned and otherwise unwanted animals that come through our door, and to provide education to the public concerning animal care and the importance of spaying and neutering. We are funded entirely by donations, grants and our fundraisers.
Our website is: www.orlandtownandcountryhumane.org
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and are THE reason we are able to operate the shelter with a very low overhead. Our volunteers are the reason why almost all of the donations, etc. benefit the animals and the facilities.
We have an ongoing need for volunteers, and whether it is for a few hours or on a regular basis, we invite you to join us.
We're very excited to meet you and appreciate your support.
