Who We Are

Paws of Coronado is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2003 in order to facilitate adoptions from the Coronado Animal Care Facility. PAWS adoptable animals reside in the Coronado Animal Care Facility( Department of Animal Control) located at 1395 First Avenue next to the Ferry Landing.  For more information visit the PAWS of Coronado Website http://www.pawsofcoronado.org/

At PAWS of Coronado we believe that pets and people should be a perfect match. Adopting a furry member into your family is an important decision and we want what is best for the animals and for you.

The dogs and cats at the Coronado ACF are extremely social due in large part to the tender loving care of the ACF staff and PAWS volunteers. This includes a dog walking program and a cat petting program.

Because we have such hands on experience with the animals, we can help you find the best match for you and your living situation.
