Where has 2017 gone? Is it possible we are only a few short months from the end of this year? We have found it increasingly challenging to make updates to our website and to publish the Dog Patch newsletter as we did in previous years. We realize it is time to take advantage of the numerous ways we can connect with you and bring you the LATEST and most CURRENT updates about the rescue, our volunteers and most importantly, our DOGS! We are making frequent updates to our new Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/volunteer4HWTH/) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/halfwaytohome_dogrescue/) accounts. From those accounts you can see weekly updates on the dogs we’ve adopted out, special upcoming events and ways you can help us help even more dogs! Please, if you use social media, connect with us, share our pages with your friends and get more folks excited about what we do to help DOGS in the Antelope Valley find FUREVER homes!

To be put on our mailing list, go to our web site (www.halfwaytohome.net), contact us, and submit a request or telephone (661) 824-4495. To DONATE, go to our web site and you can donate by using PayPal or tax deductible contributions can be mailed to Halfway To Home, Inc.; P.O. Box 512; Rosamond, CA 93560.

Who We Are

Halfway To Home was formed in 2001 due to the need in the Antelope Valley to rescue the many homeless & helpless pets. We have animals from individuals who have to give up pets, and from pounds that have darling individuals who need to be spared euthanasia. There are puppies coming from individuals who did not spay and neuter in a timely manner.

Our adoption procedure includes an application, an interview to make sure the dog and the people will be a good match, and an adoption fee. All dogs have their shots, are spayed or neutered , and when adopted get a home check. Halfway to Home dogs are adopted out to be part of the family, and many of them are housetrained, if not we ask that you are willing to undertake that task . Our dogs are intended to be indoor/outdoor family members. Doggie doors are a plus.

We are at Petsmart in Palmdale on 10th St. West, next to Trader Joe's every Saturday and Sunday Rain or Shine from 1-5 Come Visit Us! CHECK OUT OUR NEW WEB SITE: www.halfwaytohome.net.
