The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter is celebrating 50 years!
Visit our shelter and meet our amazing kitties!
The Hermitage has many beautiful, healthy cats who are readily adoptable and need loving homes. You can feel good knowing that adopting a cat from The Hermitage is a rewarding way to save the lives of two cats! Not only are your directly giving the cat you are adopting a home for the rest of their life, you also open up a space at the shelter for another abandoned feline.
Our adoption process is simple. Fill out the application at www.hermitagecatshelter.org or stop by!
We will ask about current and past pets, your current living situation and veterinary information. We also ask for references of people who know how you are with animals who will be willing to vouch for you. You will be given a guided tour, during which you are introduced to the cats and hopefully, find your forever friend.
The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit dedicated to the care, protection and rehabilitation of the unwanted and abandoned felines throughout Southern Arizona.
We are also an accredited sanctuary, especially for those cats not often considered adoptable due to FIV, FeLV or other medical or behavioral issues. As the first no-cage, no-kill shelter in Arizona, our kitties roam freely within our 9,000 square feet of enclosed indoor/outdoor living space.
We're open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and you're welcome to meet our kitties any time.
We’re located at 5278 E. 21st Street, Tucson. Major cross streets are Craycroft/22nd street.
