Polar Pug Rescue and Friends!!

Our Adoptable Pet List

Who We Are

Polar Pug Rescue and Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers within Alaska. We are here to help rescue pugs and other small dogs find their 'forever homes'. Dogs surrendered to Polar Pug Rescue and Friends are placed in foster homes with our dedicated volunteers for evaluation, social needs and vet visits before they are available for adoption.

For each and every dog, the care we provide includes:

  • Vaccinations (if not up-to-date)
  • Spaying & neutering if needed
  • Micro-chipping
  • Finding out, then solving, their social needs and health issues on a one-to-one basis.

We try to match the perfect home to every dog.

Adopting a friend

Do you think one of our pugs or other small dog is right for you? Contact us and we will try to answer all your questions. We try hard to find the perfect forever home for all our dogs in need. Maybe your home is the one!

Please feel free to visit our site for more information about our rescues: Polar Pug Rescue and Friends

Please remember that we are a volunteer organization. All of our volunteers have full time jobs, families, etc. and use their free time to check voice mail and emails. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

If you cannot adopt right now, but would like to donate to help our dogs, please visit our Donations Page for further information.

If you are interested in adopting one of our available dogs, please fill out an application

This application will automatically be emailed to our foster coordinators. If you just want to send in an application so you have it on file if the right dog comes along, feel free to do so.

Because our rescues are usually in foster homes, they can be shown to you by appointment only. Contact us to make an appointment.
